Application Fees
All application fees must be paid before taking the exam.
-For SIMA Members the fee is $350.00
-For Non-members, the fee is $550.00
The application fee includes the exam, sitting for the exam, fees/expenses associated with giving/proctoring/correcting the exam, costs of notification of pass/fail, an official stamp supplied for the successful candidate to use, an engraved plaque attesting to Certification upon successful passing of the exam, and one year of Renewal Fee benefits.
There will be no refunds given for applicants who do not show for the exam or those who cancel within two weeks prior to the test date. Applicants may re-schedule for a following exam. This will hold for a 3 year period from acceptance of the application. If the test is not taken or passed within the 3 year period, a new exam fee will be charged. A $75.00 fee will be charged for every sitting to retake the test.
